A seminar for public high school Hebrew teachers from across the country was held in Chicago on May 6th, 2010. Teachers were introduced to personalities, initiatives and resources that can enhance the ways Israeli culture and learning is experienced in their classrooms. "Israel at the Center" Kallah
In August 2009, the "Israel at the Center" Kallah brought
together educators and lay leaders from across North America and Israel
to learn, to teach, and to create collaboratively.
The Kallah is designed to:
- Provide educator enrichment in both pedagogy and content with leading professionals
- Feature cutting-edge Israel educational materials and resources
- Spotlight leading educators in the fields of Israel Education and innovation
- Immerse participants in Israeli culture and creativity
- Foster the creation of an Israel education community of practice
Our 2010 Kallah for educators and lay leaders is being
planned in collaboration with the Center for Jewish Education in
Dallas. Details will soon be available.
