As the only MZ representative from NorCal, I have been working extra hard to connect my Israel experience and love for the Holy Land to my fellow peers. First off, while in Philadelphia for my USY region’s pre-convention, prior to the USY International Convention also held in the city of brotherly love, I gave a presentation about my USY trip to Israel and the MZ Teen Internship. Using Prezi, I was able to make this a fun and engaging story for my fellow USYers. (Click here to see the presentation.) This program was intended not only to inform the one hundred or so audience members about these life-changing opportunities, but also to give them the chance to express their love for Israel.

In addition, I am working on a Prezi to share my family’s unique contributions to the Zionist cause and with my USY regional Israel Affairs Vice President in creating programs for future conventions encouraging Israel advocacy.

I can’t wait to see you all at the next conference. Until then, stay classy MZ teens.

If I was dropped off at one place in Israel it would be Eilat. I enjoy snorkeling and everything else Eilat has to offer.

Describe your Israel experience in 140 characters or less.
This past summer I went to Israel with USY. The trip was full of Jewish learning, connection to the holy land, and making new friends in the process. Even though I have been to Israel once before, this time was even more special. Traveling from North to South with thirty-four other Americans and sharing the Israel pilgrimage experience with teens my own age left me feeling even more proud about my Judaism and my connection to Israel than I was before.
