Bio:
“The minute I stepped foot in Israel, I already felt home, and I want every Jew to have that experience…Before I went to Israel, I never quite understood the need for Israel engagement in the US. Throughout my high school career, I have noticed ignorance among my classmates, but I never thought anything of it because I was also ignorant about Israel. Now that I have visited, I am more aware of how advocating for Israel is truly needed.”
If you could do one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
As cheesy as it sounds, I would help people. One of the things that makes me happy is putting a smile on other people's faces, and if I could only do one thing for the rest of my life, having my own Non-Profit in order to help people would be amazing.
If you could be dropped off at one place in Israel, where would it be and why?
Jerusalem because I absolutely love everything it has to offer. I love how I could go from a peaceful park to the busy city streets so quickly. I would never be bored there.
Describe your experience in Israel in 140 characters or less.
My Israel experience was definitely a whirl-wind tour. I only was there for a week, yet I was able to celebrate Shabbat, go to the Kotel several times, tour around Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and learn about the creation of the state. I know there is so much more to see and I can't wait to go back.
If you could hashtag your experience in Israel, what would it be?
#magical
What are you looking forward to most as a MZ Teen?
I am looking forward to telling my story and showing people how I see Israel. I think everyone wants the opportunity to be heard, and knowing my voice will be heard is very exciting.
